We know exactly what is going on in the marketplace. In many cases we set the market trends. We have an internal resource solely committed to market scanning, research and product development so that we can offer a focused service to our customers.
NPD is a continuous process at Pride Valley Foods and it has resulted in a number of product launches either of redesigned existing products or brand new products. Some of these have been aimed at kids ranges, some are simply extension to ranges and other are firmly targeted at consumers who want healthy living or are diet conscious. We are currently working on a reducing the fat and salt content in many of our products.
We are determined to maintain the lead we have set over the past 15 years as we move into other areas such as convenience, healthy living and snacking.
