Pride Valley Olympics

In 2005 we couldn’t wait for the excitement of that year’s Olympics in Turin so we had one of our own. Pride Valley employees organised themselves into teams of 5 people and set about competing in a number of events.

A final event, Pride in the Valley, asked the teams to raise as much money for charity as possible.

The winning team, Margie’s Pride, took the gold medal and £5,000 plus 5 days holiday. Silver was taken by Taylor’s Tigers and the Bronze by The Valley Vixens.

More importantly, the event raised £5,579 for charity that went to worthy causes such as Sunningdale School, Macmillan Cancer Relief, Cystic Fibrosis and the Neonatal Trust – well done everybody.

The whole event was capped off with a fantastic 70’s themed party where the winners were presented with their medals and prizes.
